On the way, we passed by Dato' Michelle Yeoh former school-St' Michael.
I was so impressed with its architecture. It's a true church masterpiece. Gorgeous!
Our first stop is Fu Shan Dim Sum Restaurant, which located at Ipoh downtown.
We met up KL Loop and had breakfast there.
This is the most grand Dim Sum Restaurant I have ever been.
They employed Chinese vintage interior design and their workers are dressed in traditional wear as well.
I was dazzled by a variety types of Dim Sum.
Most of them are so delicious!
Next destination is Kellie Castle in Batu Gajah. It's about 20 minutes away from Ipoh.If I hadn't gotten there, I never would have known there is a castle in Perak.
It was owned by William Kellie-Smith, a Scottish rubber planter in Malaysia in the early of 19th Century. But, it was never to be completed due to the sudden demise of William. Eventually, it became a haunted house and now open to the public.
I really like its Greco-Roman design. It is able to make a misconception that I were in Italy...
As we know, Ipoh is famous with many natural caves. We decided to visit 3 caves in a row--Sam Poh Tong, Nan Tian Tong and Ling Sen Tong. Various statues of Buddha and deities are placed respectively inside the caves.
What is the hottest food in Ipoh?? It certainly goes to Bean Sprout Chicken. Definitely, we had it as our dinner at Lao Huang restaurant. Meanwhile, we bought another well-known food--Salted Chicken to eat along.
