Up in the air...

I woke up at 3 something in the morning and
went to Boston Logan International Airport at 5am.

Departing from Boston to Los Angeles with Virgin America.
It took about 5 and a half hours to get there.
And then, my connection time was 3 hours to catch another flight to Seattle.
It was 2 and a half hours to arrive at my final destination.
Moreover, I had to take the link light rail south transit from the airport to University Street station to meet my friend. ANother 45 minutes!

Eastern time and pacific time are 3 hours different.
It made me felt like I had been flying, waiting, transfering for whole day.
It wasn't fun at all. Couldn't sleep well.
I am so sick of it!!!
Don't even mention about 3 more flights I am gonna to take next month.
The grim one will be the long flight returns to M'sia.
Arhh!!!!

Today was all about flying.
Hopefully do some sightseeing next two days...

Welcome to Seattle!

Full couple years of my au pair life...

" There will come a time when you believe everything is finished.
That will be the beginning." -Louis L'Amour-

I love this quote very much! It could express my thought very well especially right now.
Today is my last day for being an au pair,
my full two years in the states.
Time flies...
I feel like everything as if just happened yesterday!
Like a dream. I'm about to awake from that.

Anyhow, I am real happy to put a halt on my au pair life.
It's more than enough!
To be honest, I'm so tired.
It's time to make a change.

Now, I can scream out loud:" I'm free!!!
I can fly like a bird, swim like a fish."
Yeah!!!

My new journey is just beginning.
Treating myself an ultimate 3 weeks vacation.
Wandering around west coast...
So exciting!
So challenging too
as I didn't have much time to do some studies about my trip.
Just want to relax, have some fun before heading home
and confront the reality life. LOL!

Can't think further right now.
Tomorrow I'm gonna to fly all the way to Seattle.
Just wanna to have some sleep!
Bye now!

Kiss Goodbye to New York City...

15 Feb 2010 Monday

I went to New York City for my last time I guess.
I don't know if I would come back again!
I'm not a big-city-life lover especially this hustle and bustle of big apple life.
But, if you travel there once in a while,
you will still love it,
you just can't resist its charm!
Yes, I do love New York CIty in someways......

I met Noelle at Marriot Hotel east side.
She just got off from her duty, still with her stewardess's uniform.
Looked pretty!!!
Cool...
We didn't see each other in ages.
It's great that we could spend some time together in NYC.

We went to Grand Central Station as I wanna buy a cup of hot chocolate.
Finally, we found the one I was craving for...
Joe The Art of Coffee Shop--They make a very unique hot cocoa with a heart shaped
milk coated on the top.
It made me felt sweet and warm!!!!

Then, We walked to 6th Ave to see the LOVE sculpture.
It's a giant sculpture with 4 words-L.O.V.E.

We couldn't catch up the last hour of museum as we might get in with a cheaper
admission fee.
So, we just took few photos in front of American Museum of Natural History.
It becomes very famous after the shooting of a movie- Night at the Museum.

Bryant Park

Radio CIty Hall

We ended our day at Times Square--my favourite spot!!!
It gathers tons of dazzling and overwhelming advertisement boards, colorful neon lighting, shops and the crowd.
There was an ice love sculpture stood in front of the reddish stairs.
That must be for Valentine Day!!!

We picked Junior's as our dining place as we couldn't find any Asian food there.

No.1 Famous Cheese Cake

Chicken Puff Pie

It started to snow.
We dashed to the subway station to take a ride back to hotel.

16 Feb 2010 Tuesday

It was sleeting in the morning.
We met Noelle's friends at the lobby then caught a cab to a custom fit lingerie shop
called Ripplu, which is located at 66 Madison Ave & 27th street.
You won't believe the magic of fitting bra until you try it on.
Gosh!!!
It has a full support for your breast and could fit right into the cup.
It shaped your boobs nicely and even raise your cup.
I think my 32B became 32C.
I felt more confident and sexy. Haha...
All the pattern of lingeries are comtemporary, beautiful, feminine and sexy!
Mostly, made from Japan.
And of course, so expensive!!!
These were the best bras I have ever had!!!

It was a heavy snow in the afternoon.
I could see the big snowflakes whirling around.
It was freaking cold!
But, I like to walk in the snow.
What a fun experience in NYC!

After that, we decided to have a lunch at Korean town.
I thought Shilla is a great restaurant.
Reasonable price and good food.
We ordered a Kimchi Fried Rice and a Spicy Tofu Seafood Soup.
Delicious!!!

A call from my host mom had changed my plan.
Hurray, she asked me to stay one more night as it's too dangerous to take a night bus home in the snow.
That's good. No rush...
SO tired!! Just wanna relax.
We stayed at the hotel the rest of the day and watched a HK drama.

A nice farewell!
I hate to say goodbye sometimes...

Happy 26th Birthday to me!!!!

I'm no longer 25 and turning 26 today!!!
Ahh.. Not that young anymore!

This morning I saw a " Happy Birthday" tag hung on my room door's knob.
It looked so adorable.
It must be from my host mom.
She gave me a hug and kiss.
Hunter wished me a Happy Birthday and keep asking me if I like his present.
So cute!!!

This year could be a tough year.
Embarking my new milestone in life...
And I'm 26. Not my mom's baby girl anymore.
Gotta be good.

Birthday wish??
Simple-- Landing a good job!!!
Wish me best luck!
